Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ChannelDesk (channeldesk.app), owned and operated by RyuuGroup, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the site.
1. Cookies we use
ChannelDesk uses only first-party, strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies of any kind.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
__Secure-authjs.session-token | Holds the signed-in session for a tenant user. | 24 hours | Strictly necessary |
authjs.csrf-token | Protects sign-in and form submissions from cross-site request forgery. | Session (cleared on browser close) | Strictly necessary |
authjs.callback-url | Remembers where to return you after completing sign-in. | Session (cleared on browser close) | Strictly necessary |
Because all cookies we set are strictly necessary for signing in and securing your session, no cookie consent banner or opt-in is required under applicable e-privacy law, and there is no cookie preference toggle to configure. Blocking these cookies in your browser will prevent you from signing in to ChannelDesk.
2. Local storage
Separately from cookies, ChannelDesk stores one entry in your browser’s local storage under the key cd_cookie_ack. This entry records that you have seen and acknowledged our cookie notice, so the notice is not shown again on later visits. It does not identify you, is not sent to our servers, and can be cleared at any time from your browser’s site data settings, which will simply cause the notice to reappear.
3. Third-party font delivery
ChannelDesk loads web fonts directly from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading these fonts causes your browser to make a direct request to Google’s servers, which receives your IP address and standard request metadata (such as browser and device type) as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set tracking cookies for this purpose. See Google’s own privacy documentation for details on how Google handles this data.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because ChannelDesk’s cookies are strictly necessary for authentication, disabling or clearing them will sign you out and may prevent you from signing back in until you allow them again.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies or local storage entries we use change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date.
