Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who accesses ChannelDesk (channeldesk.app), operated by RyuuGroup. It supplements our Terms of Service and sets out what you may not do with the service. Violating this AUP is a breach of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. No unlawful or abusive content
You may not use ChannelDesk, including AI-assisted draft generation and sending features, to create, approve, or send:
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive marketing content.
- Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory.
- Phishing content, malware, or messages designed to deceive a recipient into revealing credentials or payment information.
- Content that infringes another party’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
As set out in our Terms of Service, AI-generated drafts are suggestions only. Responsibility for any message actually sent rests with the tenant user who reviewed and approved it, and sending unlawful or abusive content through ChannelDesk, whether AI-drafted or written by hand, is a violation of this AUP.
2. No unlawful data uploads
You may not connect, upload, or otherwise submit data to ChannelDesk that you do not have the legal right to process, or that was obtained unlawfully, including data collected without proper notice or consent from the individuals it concerns.
3. No abuse of the platform
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code or models behind ChannelDesk, probe or scan our infrastructure for vulnerabilities without authorization, interfere with or disrupt the service for other tenants, exceed reasonable API or usage rate limits in a way intended to degrade service, or use automated means to scrape data from the service beyond its intended functionality.
4. No circumventing tenant isolation
ChannelDesk is multi-tenant: each workspace’s data is isolated from every other workspace. You may not attempt to access, view, or modify another tenant’s workspace, data, or credentials, attempt to bypass workspace role permissions, or exploit a vulnerability to cross tenant boundaries. If you discover a tenant isolation issue, report it to security@channeldesk.app rather than exploiting it.
5. Consequences of violation
Depending on the severity and nature of a violation, we may warn you, suspend affected features, suspend your workspace, or terminate your account, with or without prior notice where we reasonably believe immediate action is necessary to protect the service or other tenants. We may also report unlawful conduct to relevant authorities where required or appropriate. Termination for a violation of this AUP follows the same data deletion cascade described in our Terms of Service.
6. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone is violating this AUP through ChannelDesk, report it to security@channeldesk.app.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to tenant users through the app or by email before they take effect.
